XBOX 360 Repair

Originally doing this for friends and family, I’ve noticed a need for local XBOX 360 repair services.  I’ve repaired a number of these, and saved people a lot of money. More than one of my friends have purchased new XBOX 360 units, only to have them fail again.

We offer general cleaning and heat sink repair. If you’re seeing the RROD, call or email us. We can generally repair these same day, depending on our work load.  If the repair doesn’t work, you don’t pay.

Failed Heatsink Bracket on XBOX 360 Heatsink Issues

This XBOX was a refurbished unit from a major chain video game store. It was intermittently working. Sometimes it would work for a short period of time, sometimes not at all.

Upon removal of the main board, I noticed that the bracket that holds the heat sink to the processor was not fully attached.

We removed both heat sinks and replaced all the hardware; after cleaning all of the residual compound. We re-installed with new silver compound and heat cycled the unit.

Unit has been running flawlessly for months, with many hours logged.

This XBOX 360 was experiencing unknown issues. Sometimes it would work fine, other times it would immediately fail.

After disassembling the unit, the issue became apparent. Heavy residue from cigarette smoke and dust was clogging all of the heat sink fins and the fans and inside of the case was coated.

We thoroughly cleaned all of the components with compressed air and other products, and reassembled. All of the issues with the machine went away.
